Fire Stations and Apparatus

Our Fire-Rescue Stations are strategically located around the township to provide a quick response to Fire and Medical Emergencies. These locations were selected as part of the Evesham Fire Department’s Master Planning Process.

We invite you to visit each station whenever you are in the neighborhood. Our personnel will gladly answer any questions you may have about our operations and also provide an informative tour of the station and its apparatus.

STATION 221/229
MAIN STREET STATION
26 E. MAIN ST.
EVESHAM, NJ 08053

Welcome to Station 221/229. This is the newest station in the department, which was occupied in August 1998. Station 221/229 is located at 26 East Main Street in the business district of Marlton Village.

There are volunteer fire and emergency medical personnel assigned to this station. Career personnel staff the Main Street station Monday through Friday, from 6am to 6pm.

Our responses to Fire and Medical Emergencies increase during the weekday hours due to the increased traffic and population rise from retail and commercial businesses in the township, as well as our elementary, middle, and high schools being in session. Most of our volunteer Fire and EMS personnel go to work during this time frame, so our career personnel are used to handle calls during the weekday hours. On larger incidents, any volunteer personnel that are available will respond with additional apparatus to help handle emergencies.

This station is equipped with the latest state of the art training facilities, which are used to train the career and volunteer members of the department. Housed at this station are one Pierce Arrow XT Engine (2211), a Pierce Arrow XT 100 ft. Tower- Ladder (2215), a Pierce Velocity Heavy Rescue (2218), a Chevrolet Van (2219), and three Ford/Horton Basic Life Support Ambulances (2291, 2292, 2293).

Five uniformed personnel also staff this office, which includes three Firefighter/EMT/Inspectors, a Lieutenant, and a Deputy Chief who oversees the office and is the Fire Marshal and Fire Code Official and Fire Subcode Official.
