Early this morning, Evesham Fire-Rescue, along with mutual aid partners, responded to a commercial structure fire in the 200 block of E. Greentree Road. Firefighters arrived on the scene in under six minutes, finding smoke emanating from the roof of a strip shopping center.

Crews swiftly initiated an aggressive interior attack, successfully containing the fire to the originating occupancy. Thanks to their efforts, the surrounding commercial units sustained only minor smoke damage.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Evesham Fire Marshal’s Office.
