Last week, members of Evesham Fire-Rescue attended the 34th Annual National Fire and Emergency Services Symposium and Dinner at the Washington Hilton. This event focuses on pursuing legislative initiatives that benefit the fire service and encourages members of Congress to reauthorize the Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG) and Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response Grants (SAFER).

During the symposium, our members met with staffers from Senator Booker’s and Congressman Kim’s offices to discuss critical issues affecting Evesham Fire-Rescue. These discussions are part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the services we provide to the community.
