Evesham Fire-Rescue has mutual aid agreements with neighboring departments to ensure a rapid response during high call volumes or specific emergencies.

Our stations are staffed with a combination of career and volunteer firefighters. Volunteers may respond from home based on the time of day.

Duties include station and apparatus maintenance, support for volunteer operations, community events participation, and ongoing training. Emergency incidents may alter daily routines.

A chirping smoke alarm typically needs a battery replacement. Replace batteries during Daylight Saving time changes.

Install smoke alarms on every level of your home, outside sleeping areas, and inside bedrooms.

We do not refill extinguishers; please contact a commercial service. Remember, many household extinguishers are not rechargeable.

We adhere to the Uniform Fire Prevention and Construction Codes as adopted by the State of New Jersey.

No, our stations cannot accommodate birthday parties due to insurance regulations. However, some families have chosen to take a tour of the fire station with the adults and children as part of a party, with families returning home to celebrate with cake or walking to a local pizza parlor. If you would like a tour for your special day, please contact us.

Yes, fire station visits are possible by appointment.

Our programs cater to all ages, covering fire extinguisher training, fire safety, church and school visits, and more.

Yes, through the Evesham Township Fire District No. 1 Firefighter and EMT Auxiliary Post. Teens ages 14-17 join as auxiliary members, attend meetings and training, and participate in a variety of ways in their teen years. This program is also a gateway to full membership at the age of 18.
